There are lots of excellent activities you may enjoy as a family.

Grade 2 is a special sacramental year in parishes in Saskatoon.  Reconciliation and First Eucharist are available for your child.  I encourage you to contact your parish or if you don’t have a parish where you are registered, choose one!  Usually classes are offered at the parish.  Due to Covid this may look a little different this year.

Fully Alive is part of our religion program and through it we discuss our uniqueness in God’s eyes as well as how we are part of families and all that comes with being family.

Story – Chrysanthemum

Formed – Website for watching Catholic videos

Please sign up for a free account.  Formed is a bit like Catholic Netflix.  Many Saskatoon parishes have subscribed so that all their parishioners can access the site.  There are programs for all ages.

Steps:  1.  Go to http://www.formed.org.  2.  Click “Sign up”.  Choose the 3rd option – member of a parish or organization.  3. Search for Holy Family Cathedral (123 Nelson Rd. Saskatoon) 4. Register using an e-mail address.  5.  Check out what is there.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon

To watch Mass from different parishes in Saskatoon as well as Stations of the Cross and the Divine Mercy Chapelet, here is a link to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon’s web page.  Watching Mass from home

If you are interested in watching daily Mass from home, simply search Mass and today’s date on youtube.  There are many parishes who broadcast daily Mass, as well as the Rosary.  Salt and Light from Toronto broadcasts daily.

If you are interested in Mass in French, there are many sites from Quebec and France.  Once again, search Messe and the date in French (eg. 3 septembre 2021) and you will find lots of options.  Sel et Lumière broadcasts daily.  Four I especially recommend:  1) Paroisse Coeur-Immaculé-de-Marie, Asbestos  2) Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde, Montréal  3) Oratoire Saint-Joseph, Montréal 4) Notre-Dame de la Garde, Marseille, France.
