French words are created from syllables. If your child can read syllables quickly and recognize the letters blends, they will be able to be efficient readers. If your child has to think about each syllable before reading it, they are going to struggle with every single word. Each video here provides a minute of practice with the same sound at the beginning and changes the vowels sounds or blends. If Jeu de mots is too hard for your child or if you are finding they are struggling with their La Roue homework, please use these videos to help build their confidence in their ability to recognize and read sounds.
